I found my dream bedroom...I think

I saw that my friends Susan's husband made her this bed.
I LOVE it!
So I checkout the website where they got the plans.

They have people send in picture of their finished product and this is one that somebody sent in.
I love the colors and the style.
I think I have Josh talked into making it. He has never really used power tools before but I think with my brothers help he can figure it out.

It's a nice clean, classy beach look not cheesy over the top crazy beach.
So in the hopes that the extension for first time home buyers credit passes again I have already started my search to create the room pictured above.

I also have a thing for the white fingered starfish these days. I found this fun shadow boxed starfish on etsy.
I like the idea but have something a little different in mind...but still cute idea. I can pick these up in a shop here in town for pretty cheap
I need to figure out what paint she used or something close to it.
